I go through both the reviews of Born or bred?: Martin Bryant: the making of a mass murderer by Robert Wainwright I feel board because the reviews are too long to read. 

In my opinion review should be in a nut shell which contains couple of lines and reader can understand easily. Though long review contains lots of information. But i like short and interesting review.

Stonnington Library, Victoria have the great idea. Their System for book review is very interesting, very short but understandable. This is good idea to attract readers. I like this.

I think Social bookmarking is another great idea. Review is most important for a reader when they want to read a book, that makes them set their mind to choose what they want to read. Also we can see the author information in the review. If reader found good reputed author sometimes they do not take time to think. Sometimes the reader can suggest other reader to read the book. Specially for the children or the elders.   

I think every library should have to provide this service.

I use to go to a public library in Parramatta. They are using some of this reviewing system not every aspect.

Change Layout

Like as before this also a fun to change the layout for my blog. I haven't change much about this.

In this modern world everything is changing with modern ways. So library will not be behind from this modern changes. As a library & information student i always believe that library will provide the best services for the community and also for the country. 

National library Australia has done the right thing to open a social media page. Where they can attract community people to visit the library. From this social media like face book they post varieties information historical, current and also geographical or financial and also political events. So people can get this information while they open the library social media pages. Its a dramatic change by using the social media in library. 

Change Color

It is a fun to change the colour of Template. Its interesting too.  Normally we do lots changes in cloring and customise computer settings. 

State Library of NSW amazing view of picture. This library is a reference library. The library is situated beside Macquery Street on Sydney SBD.  You can go and visit this library when you have chance.

In my understanding Library 2.0 is a loosely defined model for a modernized form of library service that reflects a transition within the library world in the way that services are delivered to users. The focus is on user-centered change and participation in the creation of content and community.

Facebook, tweeter & youtube are the three application which is commonly use in library.

Evaluation

Again Library 2.0 is a method service providing library service through internet technologies. Local studies, Children, Teenage/youth, Adult Fiction and Information/Reference all these five services are using 2.0 technologies in Parramatta libraries.  

Local Studies, has plenty of collections about stories, picture, varieties of books. Cateloges are provided on line which is extremely noticeable and the staff members are very devoted to provide this service via library 2.0.  

Children’s, collection are well organised. Story book, detective book, video, games and magazine are for kids enjoyment.

Collection for Teenage/youth for their enjoyment are appreciable. To add more collections for them to help to make their future is my commendation

Adult fiction collections is enough to serve the community sufficiently.

Online services of the library include a Facebook, twitter and RSS Feed, youTube, wikies and fliker where people can interchange their views & opinion. Also they get more information about present library activities. Parramatta City Library have good 

reputed information/references belongs to this service area.

The example of libraries in the world who is using library 2.0 technology to its fullest are – The National Library of Australia (http://www.nla.gov.au/), Toronto Public Library, Canada (www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/), The British Library(www.bl.uk).

Over those two blogs I like John Oxley blogge. So far I understand this is a historical blog. It has podcast, tourism site, Medical site, nursing and historical site. I think this will be a very useful blog for the library users specially who are interested in history.    

LIbrary 2.0

Library 2.0 is kind of service provide to the clients through web technology with change and interaction on user concerned. This all about communication with staff and clients collaborative technologies as blogs and wikis which expand collection of new levels of depth and diversity. 

Parramatta city library which is my local library using library 2.0 as regular basis for Local Studies, Children’s Teenage/Youth, Adult Fiction, Information/Reference. Parramatta library is has lots of collection of all this areas for their community. Despite of the facility of library 2.0 for the clients the library needs to upgrade them selves because times is changing very quickly now days so every system changing so they need to upgrde themselves.
